Held biennially, the New Zealand Festival welcomes the world to Wellington, with 24 days of performances to inspire, thrill, provoke, shock and delight in the country’s greatest celebration of cutting-edge global culture.

For the 2014 and 2016 events, Sputnik has worked in partnership with the Festival marketing team. We've planned and executed publicity programmes which have helped the event break out of traditional arts media spaces. 

We work with the Festival marketing team to identify fresh angles that secure high-impact media coverage for the Festival. In 2016 our work promoting the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo saw the event become mainstream national news, across multiple media channels for the duration of the event, and supported the Tattoo breaking Wellington all time ticket sales records.
